Also, the Japanese are known for adopting many English and other foreign words into their language, and saying that, "Roger that" can be said as "Raja" as if said on the radio or anything in that manner. But I understand what you are trying to say. You are actually very close. "Ryoukai" is what they use when they say that they understand or they comprehend. I hope that helped in some way.
