Ums distracting?

Have u noticed how people use a million "ums" in between words? I find it so distracting especially when lecturers do that!

  2. yes... ums and ahs are extrememly distraction. all i can seem to do is count them!

    its very frustrating especially while trying to take notes in lectures.
