Unable to delete print job

I have a Brother MFC - 665 CW printer -
Problem: tried to print document' it was 'hung up'; decided to delete - it is now stating 'deleting- error - printing'

this has happened before: I have forgotten how to delete the document in que.

can someone please tell me the process
