With a considerable version of adobe acrobat reader, I am unable to download or even open pdf files from the internet.I can still open pdf files that has been previously saved (or downloaded from another pc), but I cannot download a pdf file with this computer. This is a pentium 4 Acer travelmate 270 laptop, I waited for some time when I was trying to download a pdf file on this computer considering that our broadband connection run between 24 to 54 mbps and with a pentium 4 processor. Yet, I was unable to. I tried it a few times again, but has still the same problem.what actions can be done on this matter? was there a glitch on installing the software? To tell everyone honestly, i really don't know the reason because I haven't modified the pertinent softwares on this computer or reinstalled adobe acrobat reader. I noticed this problem when I tried to download pdf files a couple of weeks ago because I don't download pdf files with this computer but only open pdf files with it, considering its processor's speed. I cannot tell if this has been a problem long time ago because it was just its initial pdf downloading activity a few weeks ago. This is not the case with our other home pc. I can read and download pdf files with it even with a adobe acrobat version 5 only. Now I'm consulting this to everyone to check in this case as soon as possible.thank you so much!
