Unable to sync my blackberry pearl 8100.?

Whenever I try to sync my contacts it say unable to read or write data. Whats going on?

There is probably a bad entry if one of your contacts. First Name, Last Name, and Company cause issues sometimes if there are special characters there or no last name is filled in.

Try looking at your contacts and see if you can find any weird characters (something other than a-z, 0-9, etc) or entries with no last name.
