Unable to thread lower looper on Babylock Eclipse...

I use the wire threader to thread my lower looper on the Babylock Eclipse
BLE1SX. However, there seems to be a 'blockage' in the lower looper
canal that prevents the wire and thread from passing through easily.
The wire looper threader is so thin, I cannot imagine what would prevent
it from going through. Please help
