Unable to turn on my LG VX9800, need help please?

Question

I've tried turning on my LG9800 but it doesn;t work. I turn it on and it seems like its going to stay on but then it turns off, goes blank for a few seconds then comes on and goes off again. It repeats the samething for about a minute then just goes blank again like when you've turned off your phone. Can anybody help please.

Try taking out the battery and putting it back in.
