  1. I am about the same age as you and I fly on long flights all the time!! First of all you need to make sure the airline you are flying on allows unaccompanied minors, some airlines wont let you fly without an adult. Its best to try and sit by a window cause then you will have something to look at instead of the seat in front of you the whole time! If you are scared of heights then I would sit by the aisle. when you have a connecting flights you will get off your first flight and go to your next gate or flight, and wait for boarding. essentials on a flight: some sort of reading material like a book or magazine, a portable music player, and gum for when your ears start popping. Oh and you will also want some money on hand to buy snacks on the plane. on flights longer than 5 hours they will have meals for you or meals to purchase! there will probably be some movies to watch too! Swiss air is very reliable I have flown it once and my grandparents have flown it many times!!

Have a good trip and Happy Travels!

  2. Hi, i hope you have a good trip.

You have checked the airline accepts unaccompanied minors havent you? Some airlines wont allow people under 15 to travel without an adult. You will need to take something to read/do on the flight. make sure you have tissues and some money in case you want to buy something on the flight. Id take a few sweets etc with you too. As to where to sit thats up to you... a window seat is good when you are flying over countries but then an aisle seat is easier if you want the loo.

    Enjoy yourself.

  3. To be honest you won't gain much at a window seat as you can't see a great deal from about 5 miles up.

At connecting flights you land, find your next flight at the airport then wait. Have a walk round and stretch your legs. Your baggage will be automatically checked in.
