Vladislav Radimov has shared his expectations over the upcoming Russian Premier League tie between Zenit St. Petersburg and Spartak Moscow at Petrovsky stadium
Zenit St. Petersburg assistant manager, Vladislav Radimov, has revealed that Spartak Moscow will find it difficult to beat Zenit St. Petersburg in the upcoming Russian Premier League tie at Petrovsky stadium on Saturday.
The last time these two sides played against each other in a league tie, the Myaso came from behind to seal a 3-2 win on the away turf. Going into the crunch league tie, Zenit will be without http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danko-Lazovic-c10188 and Tomas Hubocan.
The 36-year-old is of the belief that though the Spartachi are yet to lose a league match so far, they will not be able to defeat the defending league champions despite signing a world class coach last month.
Radimov admitted that the Moscow-based club have signed a decent coach in the form of Unai Emery, from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 last month. However, the former Real Zaragoza player insisted that the Spanish tactician needs time to settle in Russia
before winning big games.
As things stand, Zenit and Spartak are on equal footing on the league table with an equal goal difference, having claimed nine points from the opening three games.
The Meshki defeated Amkar Perm, Dynamo Moscow and CSKA Moscow while the Red-whites recorded victories against Alania Vladikavkaz, Volga Nizhny Novgorod and Dynamo Moscow.
"The match is between two teams that are enjoying top form at the moment. We will see a duel of two foreign experts with extensive experience. No one would have dared to predict the recaps when Emery made surprise moves against
Dynamo Moscow.”
“Carrying out of rotation, by the way, also features high-class foreign experts. In addition, Zenit, I know, that the team there is little offended, because everyone gets playing time. And now the same thing is happening at Spartak
in which everyone will feel part of the team.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Radimov insisted that Spartak are a high level team with decent set of players who can change the fate of the match on their own.
