Unbelievable price. Wonder if this is true.?

I found a website when searching on yahoo shopping with an unbelievable price for laptop.

http://www.us-electronicsshop.com/product_info.php?product_id=4015&categorie=2

The actual price for that laptop is more than $2000 but they're selling it brand new for just $999. Also there is no tax and free shipping anywhere. When you placed an order, they'll send you an email requesting the payment to be made through MoneyGram. I was wondering if this is true or this is just another scam website. Thanks.

  1. I would be very careful.  Do some research and find out if MoneyGram has any protection for the buyer.   You see many of these seller don't want to accept paypal because it protects the buyer against dishonest sellers.  Another option is to ask if this seller could accept paypal.  I used to sell with yahoo auctions and I liked paypal the best because, I felt that both buyer and seller were protected.  Good luck to you.

  2. The specs seem good, especially to run vista comfortably.  I looked around the site it seems ok, but you might want to check out FAQs and the return policy.  Either way I don't know if it's real or not but when getting a laptop you should always look for extended warranty service because I work at my school computer lab and ALWAYS see students and patrons alike whose laptops are no longer under their 1-year warranty and they have to fix parts of it that cost almost as much as the entire laptop or half the price, etc.  Either way you should check out best buy or compusa, so you can try the computer out and buy a warranty that will protect your investment in the future

  3. sounds very much like a scam the only way i would go for that is cah on dlivery even then id want to see it working before i put up the money.bee carefull.

    c yah..

  4. I wouldn't trust this site, since its located on broadway in NY, unless you are actually close enough to go vistit the location.  The address they provide is actually a warehouse, so it doesn't look like they have an actaul store front or the address may be fake.  Also, they have no listing on resellerratings.com, which makes the place even less legit.  On the www.bbb.org the company name is nowhere to be found.  Stay clear of most no name places from the Bronx or Ny in general.

  5. check into this carefully and read all the fine print, most of the time these are reconditioned machines and they call them new, my mom got one and they had to send it back three times and it never did work.
