Unbelievable ?

What is the most memorable thing that you have personally observed in another rider since you started riding that has caused you to say to yourself; " well, there goes the reputation of all GOOD bikers shot to H E L L"

I ask this because I saw something this last weekend that really made me shake my head in disbelief. An individual on a dirt bike spitting lanes on the Trans Canada Highway while doing a wheelie @ 120 + KPH! That's

70 + MPH to our American cousins.

Whenever I see a r****d on a brand new black Harley dressed up in shiny new g*y pirate leathers sporting his bad *** scowl and dragging his feet at stoplights as he revs his straight pipes, I know Joe Public is hating all motorcycle riders.

my friend and i were in my car on the interstate going 80mph and got passed by a guy on a sport bike.  the thing was, he was sitting on the gas tank!  it was crazy.  he had to of been going at least 90.

About a month ago, a sportbike rider passed through a speed trap on the highway nearby.  Had he been a GOOD rider (and all legality aside), all he had to do was twist the throttle hard for another mile until he got into the mountains. There, he could have outran the cop and had a hundred random back roads to hide on.  (So easily done even I might consider doing it!)

Instead, he took the very next exit and proceeded to fly up a street with lights, hills, and tons of traffic!  Needless to say, the cop caught up with him, but instead of pulling over he tried accelerating through a red light and slammed into the side of a Suburban at over 60mph.

Turns out the plates didn't match the bike, and he had a warrant for his arrest.  Jeezus, was it really worth dying for?

What You saw is commonplace here except it is sportbikes  and it is more ilke 100 mph. We have One kid hho passes the house all the time on 1 wheel at 100 plus.

stunters...gotta be the stupidest thing ive ever seen,makes no sence to me.

you get people on here one week asking how to stunt,then the next week they want to know how to repair it,bikes aint made for that kinda c**p,niether are human bodies

Riding a bike with an open exaust anywhere in public. It's what does things like cause cities to pass legislation to ban motorcycles from scenic roads and set up "safety" checkpoints targeted at motorcyclists.

Wheelies and whatnot on busy roads comes in a close second. There's nothing wrong with some shenanigans, but keep it within reason.

I saw a guy on a Gold wing headed west on I -40 with Video camera on one eye and taping as he went down the road. For those of you that have been on I-40 in west Texas it was done by Allen Reed where all of the hilly curves are. Of course the one ahead of me Mag walking into a Harley shop is scary also

Someone I know stuck his Harley into the back of an SUV, in town, and was in a coma for days before dying.  His helmet was strapped to his sissy bar.

I'm "anti- helmet law" by the way.

A guy I work with came in the other morning and said there was a dude riding an old BSA bike down the interstate, weaving in and out of traffic at about 70mph - while riding side-saddle.

We puzzled for a while as to whether or not there was any legitimate reason for this - and the best we could come up with was that he might've been disabled somehow.

How he would manage to shift gears would be a whole other story though...

I saw an idiot riding a bike in heavy traffic, while holding and talking on a cell. I will not do that driving let alone riding a bike.

We also had a guy killed on a crotch rocket last week. (head on with a car making left hand turn) The crotch rocket crowd are all up in arms because driver was not cited. Eye witness say bike was traveling over 120 mph, Police (local,Sheriff, and State Patrol) are still investigating but they say speed was in excess of 90. The posted speed limit was only 35. Body parts (human) were scattered (according to local paper Pueblo Chieftain) over 60 yards from point of impact, one arm hitting rear of a car almost 1/2 a block ahead of accident, bike parts were scattered over 100 yards away. But the good thing was he had a full face helmet.
