Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Special Edition and Pre-order bonuses revealed
Fans of PlayStation’s Uncharted series have something to add to their wishlists with the announcement of the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Collectors edition.
The special edition of the highly anticipated title will come with a Nathan Drake statue, a belt that players can wear in real life as well the game coming in a steel book case.
The entire collection will be packed in an impressive ‘Travelling Chest’ and is expected to be priced at just under a $100 or $99.99 to be exact.
The Special Edition will also be available in Europe though fans of the series there will also be available to purchase the Explorer Edition which be exclusive to the region.
The Explorer edition will include a voucher will all the pre-order bonuses already included as well as a Nathan Drake passport holder. A 3D lenticular image will also be included in the pack making it something every Uncharted fan would love to get their hands on.
Along with the announcement came news of the various pre-order bonuses players can avail if they order their copy of Uncharted 3 from any of the following retailers.
Players who order from Amazon will unlock the Carpet Bomb Kickback which will give the player the ability to throw three grenades at a single time which is sure to deal heavy damage. The preoder will also give players the Clip Size Mod which gives the players increased magazine capacity, though it will only be available for use with two weapons, namely the G-MAL or the Para 9.
If players were to book their copies from Best Buy then the Regeneration Booster will be available for use. Which as the name suggests will allow players to regenerate their health at a quicker rate.
Walmart will look to entice players with their Callout Mod for the Ak-47 which will attach a laser sight to the player’s AK-47. The laser sight in turn will highlight the enemy’s position to the entire team when the player targets him.
GameStop on the other hand are offering a rather bizarre booster in the form of the Creepy Crawler Kickback which will grant players the ability to turn themselves into a swarm of creatures that attack opponents for a limited time.
If players are to order their copy of Uncharted 3 from anyone other than the above mentioned retailers, they would receive a Theme for the PlayStation 3 as well as a PSN Avatar.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is scheduled for a release on the 1st of November and will be up against the likes of Modern Warfare 3 and Assassins Creed: Revelations which are due out in the same month.
