Uncle Brit in form to take down the competition in the Bettor.Com Latest Sports News Handicap   
The Class 5 Bettor.Com Latest Sports News Handicap has brought together some exceptional runners who have improved from the form in which they entered the season. The race will be held over a mile, a furlong and twenty yards on Monday, 30th July at Ayr. Ten three-year-old and above will take up the challenge for taking the £2,458 prize money to the connections.
The 11 to 2 six-year-old entry, Uncle Brit, has been active nine times during the new season and has displayed progress and a certain level of consistency only through the last four outings that the six-year-old under took.
Efisio’s bay gelding ended fourth in the Play Casino At Betvictor.Com Handicap on 9th July, 2012 at Ayr over a mile and two furlongs. The race was won by the favourite entry, Luctor Emergo.
Finishing the closest to the winner was, Hawdyerwheesht.
The Ladbrokes Handicap on 16th July, 2012 at Southwell over a mile notched up the rankings for the bay gelding out of mare, Tarneem, to the second position. It was first time during his career that the six-year-old settled as the runner-up.
The race was won by the favourite entry, For What, as the final 3 ½ lengths went in his favour.
The Malcolm Jefferson trained won the Racing Post Form With Totepool Mobile Handicap (Division I) on 23rd July, 2012 at Ayr over a mile. After taking their flight from the first gate, jockey, P. J. McDonald, with his ride traced down the leaders, and had made smooth progress when there remained the last two furlongs to be raced over.
The bay gelding won the race by the margin of 1 ¼ lengths. Qualifying as the runner-up was, Military Call, who was soon followed by, Master Of Dance.
He will need to look out for the four-year-old bay gelding, Hawdyerwheesht, as his improved form to resurface again is being anxiously awaited upon. His last four races were at Ayr, and just through the second last one he managed securing the runner-up’s honour.
Uncle Brit will ride with jockey, P. J. McDonald, and the duo has been allotted the fourth gate to break from.
