Uncle Junior has 9 classic triumphs to his name. The 27-race veteran horse marvellously accomplished an epic hat-trick from March 5 to May 6, 2011. He moved ahead to grab 3rd spot in a race on October 9.
The brilliant gelding elegantly clinched top spot in a big event on November 11. He proceeded to finish 7th and 8th each in his last two outings.
The hot favourite horse is packed with enthusiasm and momentum at the moment. If he runs to his best and makes no mistake on the track, he will have as high as 94 percent chances to finish first in today’s contest.
Among the other runners, Arabella Boy and Shalimar Fromentro will also be able to struggle hard for the Cup title.
Arabella Boy’s last victory came on February 23, 2011. Following this impressive triumph, the E. Bolger-trained gelding went ahead to finish 3rd and 4th in two back-to-back races during January 2012. He achieved a runner-up rank in
his second last start on March 11.
Shalimar Fromentro excellently clinched a 3rd spot each in his last two outings on February 28 and April 2, 2012. Nick Williams’ grey gelding has a dozen of races to his name.
Though there will be a rip-roaring clash in the race but Uncle Junior is likely to pave his way towards victory convincingly. Good luck to all the contestants.
