I'm 13, I'm a female, and i sweat SO much under my arms its disgusting.

Just today, i was sitting at the computer for maybe an hour and the stains under my arms where about 4 inches wide and 3 inches long and it wasn't even hot in the room. I'm not over weight, and i do wear deodorant, this has been going on for a year and i don't know what to do anymore, it's embarrassing!

Any tips?

Ideas?

ANYTHING?!!

  1. I heard salt works.

  2. Talk to your doc about maybe getting botox injections under your arms. It works in 99% of the cases. You could also try asking your doc for ditropan which works well with people who sweat a lot. You're still pretty young so don't go for anything too drastic.

  3. I have the same problem believe me your not the only one going through this! =)

Try using secrect clinical protection. It really works.

  4. Hey! im  a 13 year old female too and i have the same problem! this is sooo cool. i sweat alot. honestly i think it's because of puberty and were in the age where we start sweating there because were growing hair there. try taking more showers alot and if  you could take a bath everyday so your body is clean. this will happen froom time to time  but after you reach puberty im sure this will stop.  i was gonna write the same question. if you think your deodarant is too old  than try another one. many people reccomend secret. i really hoped i helped and it wil be cool if you picked me as best answer. alsoo i love this question!!!

  5. The deodarant that works great for me is Secret Platinum, ever since I started using it I never perspired or smelled bad. But if it doesn't work for you, I'd suggest you go to your doctor they can give you strong anti-perspirants.

  6. Drs. can prescribe you a type of deod. that you put on at night before bed and you shouldn't have a problem anymore. I heard its a little hard to get used to at first because it can cause a rash because of its potency. But if u want to stop sweating that should work.

  7. There's a special deoderant called driclor that if you begin using it really stops you sweating - but don't ever use it after shaving - it hurts like h**l

  8. I forgot the medical term but anyway they do make Rx deodorant and if all else fails they can inject botox to the underarms to block the sweat glands.

  9. First, make sure you're wearing an anti-perspirant and not just a deodorant. I actually wear a men's anti-perspirant, because I have so much trouble with sweating. You might try that, or one of the more extra-strong, "prescription-strength" anti-perspirants. They're a good bit more expensive, so you might try the men's first. Secret makes one, I believe it's called "Clinical Strength." You can find them at any major drugstore/department store. Hope that helps! :)
