Question:

Uncrackable cipher?

I, the Great Llortamai, have a username written in a cipher uncrackable by the greatest human brain or by the most sophisticated computer programme.

But do I need to take steps to prevent a future generation of computers acquiring this secret knowledge?

  1. You do realize the term uncrackable is only applicable to the current time and unless you have a time machine to travel forward in time to view the technology of ciphers just before the universe collapses in on itself then someone will crack it and make one even better eventually.

  2. What you need to do first is to go forwards in time to inspect future computer systems. That way you'll be more informed of what will be out there.

Then if you think they may have the capability to decipher your username I would simply destroy the world.  Um, the world of the future, say, 100 years from now?

  3. Hmm, interesting problem iamatroll (oops got your name backwards there, incidentally i seem to have cracked the "uncrackable cipher")
