Uncrowded Tampa Bay courses?

Obviously, most golf courses are over crowded while the snowbirds are here. Is there a public course in the area that is not quite as busy and a round can be played in three hours or so?

  1. Try looking on paradiseteetimes.com its a free website.  It show some of the local courses and you can see what they have open.  You also get a little discount off the green fee.

  2. I live on the Northdale Golf course and there really isn't all that much difference in the number of people playing now that the snowbirds have landed.  Weekdays are pretty open actually.

As far as three hours though, I don't think that will happen unless you are the first one out in the a.m. and are a fast player.

I also like Lexington Oaks and Heritage Harbor, but here again it would not be three hours.

You might try one of the shorter (or executive courses) like Countryway or The Groves.

    Hit 'em straight!
