INSINCERE to women?

To suggest former female Clinton supporters like myself are SHALLOW enough to vote for the sake of having ANY woman in the Top Office is insulting to our intelligence & understanding of the integral & vital issues at stake for this 2008 Presidential Campaign?

Esp. when his choice of running mate is on the wrong side of the important issues?

I supported Sen. Clinton for her platform, not for who she is & Sen. McCain's judgement is incorrect if he believes plugging a woman into the #2 spot will sway my values & integrity. What say you?

  1. I think McCain just giftwrapped the presidency to Obama.

  2. Any more than Obama saying "change" over and over but picking an insider like Joe "stauts quo" Biden?

What a con job that is!

  3. Who cares, us undecided Clinton supporters know one thing is for d**n sure at this point, and that is that we are not picking McCain as a fall back plan!  Clinton Supporters can support Hillary by standing behind Obama at this point that is what she has said she herself will be doing when it comes down to it.

  4. I think she's a great choice....former mayor, a governor with alot of accomplishment and a high approval rating (80-90%).  More than 143 days working in the senate.

  5. it is insulting that he picked her thinking because she is a woman we would vote for them. we did not like Hillary because she is a woman. there are bigger things than that

  6. Your question in itself is pandering and insulting.

  7. Just cant stand the thought of a real women in office can you?

Build a bridge and get over it.

  8. The main reason women are allowed to vote is the KKK. White males made their wives vote to double their own choice.  Usually Democrat.

edit - I'm getting thumbs down for facts?  Read, it's a lot better than the movie.  You guys and your actions MAKE Ann Coulter right.

  9. Palin is actually on the right side of issues.   Why should McCain's pick of Palin be an insult to any one?  Democrats presidential pick is a slap that will not go away.  In 67 days they will be crying; not because of over enjoyment; but, they will really say he was our worst opportunity to get in.

  10. McCain isn't going to get all Clinton voters, obviously, but he sure made an impact today.   Sure, the radical feminists won't vote for Palin, they were never going too.  But he sure made it appealing to those moderate women voters today.

  11. So the Dems happen to trot out 2 "minorities" to choose from. The Republicans pick a strong woman and the Dems are upset? I'm sorry, is picking "minority" candidates only cool if you're a Dem? C'mon now, double standard. He thinks she is best for the job. Why p**s of his base Rep's needlessly?

  12. No. But voting Obama is...

  13. he didn't pick her for your vote.   he picked her because of what she is and has done with her life.    the point that obama didn't pick hilery was a blunder on his part.   remember that 3 to 5 million women feel dised by the dems for not putting her on the ticket.   remember PUMA also are not going to vote democratic.   these are the votes that john is going after.     you lose again with your liberal fantasies  mr doodles

  14. yes it's very insulting that's why I'm voting for Obama 08 all he did is make me vote for Obama I mean I did some research and she is anti-abortion and I believe that is a woman's choice and she is not very femine at all she is against alot of rights that women have been fighting for and had less experience then Obama and isn't that whta he is always saying Obama is a great man but doesn't have enough experience?

  15. I think it is giving women their just due. They were cheated by the Democrats when Hillary. Palan gives women a chance to have a woman in the White House. And as president in 2012

  16. Yea where will the pumas go now that their intelligence is insulted.

  17. No I dont.  I think Obama was insulting to clinton though

  18. hes already winning over clinton supporters no matter what you say!

  19. I think that McCain was desperate to grab some headlines after Obama's wonderful speech. But he will live to regret both his choice and his insult to the intelligence of women.

  20. Yes, I voted for Hillary and I can't stand the phoniness of Mccains VP pick. Me and my sister were talking about it all morning

  21. Hard to believe but I have a coworker who is a Hillary fan who is ecstatic about the pick. She is so totally focused on getting a woman elected she has lost sight of the real prize.

It is like watching insanity. This is a person who is an atheist and totally anti-religion and yet is all excited that Palin was the team prayer leader when she played sports and so she will excite the evangelical vote. I'm listening to her and going, "huh?"

  22. Their little plan will not work.  Women are much smarter than these fools think they are.

And to think that is was all thought up by Karl Rove.  Shows his integrity, doesn't it?

  23. I personally think that it was a wise move for McCain.  After all, women tend to be less violent than men, which will probably sway some bills that will be created in regards to the war.  Also, now there is even a greater chance that a woman will have power over the country, meaning that if McCain is impeached, assassinated, or resigns, a woman will be able to step up and be president.  Maybe now sexism in the workplace will be no more, and maybe even there will be harsher punishments for sexual offenders.

  24. sarah palin has been a top VP pick for sometime for a myriad of reasons.  its not pandering, its not insulting.

  25. I don't think it is because after having read up on her...this morning I knew nothing about her and was a little confused as to why he picked her...but now that I've gone and educated myself, I realize that she actually has played a really important role in Alaska and has done a lot of good, not only as governor, but also on the Wasilla City Counsel.  And everyone keeps saying she's a journalist with not enough political background, but if read her background, you'll see that it didn't take her long to get things in order and stay on top of them.

  26. I agree with you 100% - I am an avid Hillary supporter who will be voting for Obama.  It's definitely insulting to assume that women vote based on gender.

  27. No... you are making a mountain out of nothing.

Palin brings in great family values and also she does not waver from her beliefs or her platform.

Palin has more experience than Obama hands down.

    McCain/Palin 2008

  28. INSULTING!

Most women are smart enough to spot a "token" women when we see one

    she's NO hillary Clinton!

  29. So you're a former female then?  News to you I'm sure, but a lot of your sisters are voting for McCain.  So now McCain choosing a woman is insulting to women?  Jesus.  And we let you people vote.

  30. No, it's a wonderful choice. Obama made a big mistake. If you don't agree with her politics, then don't vote. But I think she's a wonderful woman, smart and good all around.

  31. I'm not sure who I like best, but I must say I was disappointed to hear McCain's running mate. It's like they are fighting to see who can get an minority in office first. Let's just pick the best person and not worry about s*x or race.
