Under 16 and travelling alone

I'm travelling with easy jet with my friend later this month. We are both 14 and 14 year olds are allowed to travel alone im just wondering if you have to do something special to let a certain person know ur travelling alone or wether we as 14 year olds can board the plane like proper adults. if you know what i mean?

  1. you board as adults. it is completely normal. i did it to germany to see my girlfriend (im 16) and it was easy. dont be frettin.


  2. all you do it when you check your bags i think or when you are about to board the plane they will give you a necklace saying child alone and the people who work on the plane will whatch you

    Children under the age of 14 (exclusive) years can not travel without an adult of over 16 years of age who will take full responsibility for the child.

    Passengers between the age of 14 (inclusive) and 16 (exclusive) years may travel alone, however they cannot travel and be responsible for children under 14 years (exclusive).

    However, for some countries, a written authorization by the parents is required to travel, otherwise they may be considered as runaways.
