Under Eye Rash?

I apply tea bags under my eyes i heard that the antioxidants are good for you.

I have like a red rash under my eyes. why is this happening? has this happen to anybody? Should i do this once in awhile? or just stop completly?

The Tanin in the tea helps with swelling but a couple of things happen to some people. You could be allergic to it and the sensitive skin under your eyes is reacting. Also, you have to remember that it is not sterile so you might have a small skin infection from it, which is highly unlikely, but can happen. The antioxident thing works better form the inside so drinking it for the antioxidents is better. Try to put cold compresses on your lids instead for a while. Put a damp washclot in the freezer and do the compresses on your lids with that instead for a while and drink the tea!
