Under Indian divorce laws, is it possible for a couple to file for divorce under mutual consent ?

If yes, how long do the proceedings normally last ? Does it need to be in the same city as the city of registration of marriage ? Do the petitioners need to go to the court at all or can it be completely done out of court since it is by mutual consent ? Would appreciate any clarifications on this subject. Thanks.

we have already given joint petetion for divorse.. after divorce is it possilbe to register marrage and live toggether what will be the time duration it will take for us to register marrage .... iam hindu and she is hindu....
