Late 1980's Ford dually pickup truck stolen in my neighborhood. Report taken by local sheriff and reported to owner's insurance company. If the vehicle is never recovered, how long must the original owner have to wait until it is deemed "uncovered" and a replacement vehicle or compensation is issued per Ohio Law?

  1. I would like to recommend you possess as much information as you can before taking action, here is a good place for that purpose.http://insurance.online-frees.info/insur...

  2. Ohio law doesn't address the question of how long a vehicle must be missing before insurance company replaces it, that is up to the policies of the insurance company.

Generally at least 30 days goes by to see if the vehicle is recovered before the insurance will take action.

  3. For auto insurance the quick method to get a low quote is do a car policy comparison. If you choose the same coverage amounts, you can get an accurate quote to compare against others. Use the same city/state, auto make and model, mileage and driving history to ensure you get an apples to apples comparison.
