Under both my ears are swollen and they are sore to touch. What is it??

Right under my ear lobe it's like swollen under each of my ears and they are sore if i turn my neck or touch them. You can't really see the swelling only a bit but i sure can feel it. I'm only 14 and I don't know what this is. Ive had it for about 3 days now. Should my mom take me to the ER??

i think you have swollen glands this usually happens when your body is fighting infection also it could be glandular fever which many young people get you really must tell your mum

You need to see a doctor. That is where lymph nodes are located. It could be a case of mumps.

you probably have an allergic reaction.

since you aren't totally sure, go to the hospital now. just in case.

There are glands under your ears, and under your jaw.  If they are swollen, that is a sign of infection.

Your Dr. needs to check them to see what is wrong, and maybe run a few labs too.
