Since I'll be starting my second year of high school football, I just wanted ask something uniform wise. Since I live in New England and it gets quite cold around here during HS football season, I am planning to wear my briefs, under armour blue compression long shorts, under armour leggings, my pads, obviously my football pants over that and then a pair of under armour black knee socks. Somebody told me this was way too much compression and tight clothing plus it would be pretty bulky. What do you guys think?

  1. I played four years of HS football in south dakota and it gets plenty cold here sometimes in season.  It helps to keep moving, standing around gets you cold faster than anything since you're not generating heat.  Either full lenth tights or thermanl underwear(long johns) will do nicely.  Tights are flashier for games but long johns do for practice.  They aren't too bulky and you won't spend a fortune for the brand name "underarmor".

  2. Honestly I think its to much...I played ball in Wisconsin as most know where its freezing during late football season and I just stayed in cold weather under armour upper and leggings and thats it. Youll get plenty hot when youre moving around on the field. Trust me. Those are the only things I would add.
