  1. Under the new law it will not be possible no more to convert a visit visa into an employment visa.

    "People who have secured jobs will come here only on employment visas - they won't be allowed to come on visit visas and then change their status to employment and residency."

    You will have to leave the country and re-enter the UAE on an employment visa.
