I was watching a fight, and they said its awkward for an orthodox fighter vs another orthodox fighter to circle to his right. So when should it be done?

  1. when either he or his opponent is left-handed.

  2. If the fighter has a dangerous Right hand. If his strengths are straight right, right cross or even right hook keep circuling right avoid the Right all night. Counters are Upper cuts and hooks just dont get caught yourself.

  3. Ortho v Ortho  -  If you have a big left-hook and you never want your opponent to lead with the right, you would circle right.

Ortho v South - Probably should not be done since your foot would be the inside foot more, thus leading to more straight lefts.

  4. A. Your opponent is south paw and has no power and you fight orthodox. Which would mean that you could  have your feet in position to land big punches because you are moving forward and not backwards (if you were circling left.)

    B. Your opponent fights orthodox, has a loaded right hand and your chin is made of china. Circle right, circle right, circle right.

    C. If you want to lose a NASCAR driver.
