  1. this is usually done in areas where the rainfall doesn't exceed 20 to 25 inches annually.


  2. If the ground is currently in crops or bare the first thing is to plant some good grass to get the ground covered to control erosion. Then you would pretty much let the land go back to nature.  Depending on the game on the land, you may want to plant some wildlife food plots for the winter and try to make sure that there was a source of water to them year around.

  3. It depends on what kind of game you'd like to farm;  deer farmers in the UK are mostly open parkland where the deer are probably given extra feed when there's little/no grass and during cold/wet/snowy weather.

  4. Where it's sustainable . In other words , just about anywhere , given that "correct" balance is maintained . I.e. , "It all depends".  No single  right answer .
