Hey so I got the new UnderOath album bout two days ago....I have listened to it bout 2 times through....and it's....let say different but in the same way the same.
I guess after Define The Great Line, I expected some monstrous things from these guys! May I just say, Aaron Gillespie is seriously one talented m**o...his drumming has improved so much for me...even as a guitarist, his drumming steals the show for me.
It seems as though Underoath have 'grown' up I know people may associate this term with 'selling out' but in the way they grew up...I mean for the better..
This Underoath album is like no other album by them...in most aspects! I believe they have incorporated industrial into their post-hardcore, Screamo (whatever you want to call it) sound.
All in all, enough of the bullshiiiiit, I enjoyed the album....but I am still getting used to it!
The album will not doubt leave you with a sense of confusion, wanting more and a strain on your own stable mind.
Boys, you've done it again!
