Underage Drinking in Mexico?

I already have an idea about how much they will enforce underage drinking in mexico. Probally fairily leinient. But as far as me buying alcohol? Where?

Just go to a corner store or gas station.

Ask a taxi driver to pick it up for you.  

The police will turn a blind eye and hit the person in charge of the bar for a few pesos as a deterrent.

Just don't get hammered and make a scene and you can drink all you like assuming you are 17.  The legal age is 18.

As long as you are not swinging from a chandelier by your teeth with a beer in one hand and your bra in another you should fair out O.K

Mexican authorities do not put tourists in jail for having a good time.

Try buying it yourself, I don't think you will have a problem
