Underdogs & rejects whats the difference?

My Wife & I were discussing underdogs' & rejects' , & what the difference is. I need as much input as possible...........Please?

rejects r those u find living on the streets

underdogs r those who get victimised by cruel bosses / capitalists dogs,  get blame for almost everything.

society-wise they r the underprivileged, living on welfare, not necessarily living in a home....

Underdog is just unfavored, not likely to come out on top.
