  1. You cannot get an undergrad in any doctoring field. You have to choose a major as an undergrad, go to medical school and then do another four years of residency in the specialty of pediatrics. You technically don't start the pediatrics part until your last four out of twelve years in school.

  2. To be a pediatric physician you would need to do Medical School, which is graduate school. Your undergrad is basically your years in a regular four year university. When you are an undergrad you are a college student. Graduate student you would be a Med Student.

  3. a pediatrics speciality requires college, medical school, and then a few years study and training in your speciality

You can get your undergraduate degree in anything you want as long as you get the prerequisit coures for the MCAT test - it's what you take to get into medical school.

Then you go to medical school and then you get a few more years of schooling by specializing in pediatrics.

  4. You cannot become a pediatrician in the US without completing your Bachelors degree (undergraduate / undergrad), then take the MCAT, get accepted to Medical School, graduate with your MD, do a 1 - 2 year internshilp, and then complete a Board Certified pediatric residency program. From the time you start your undergraduate studies for you bachelors degree to you qualify as a Board Certified pediatrician is approximately 12 - 15 years.

  5. your undergrad is college (freshmen through senior) then you apply to medical school in-which upon acceptance you earn you phd. lenght of time depends on the modality.  Undergrad is basic college. Grad is masters, doctorate etc...
