Underwear problamo??

I'm 14 and all my friends wear thongs and I want to too but I'm just afraid about asking my mom and how she will react so how do I go about asking her if I can??

average guy likes boy-short style. It's actually a little more sexier. Otherwise, just ask your mom, and be prepared to have to answer, and not just say 'cause your friends are.

I was fourteen when I bought my first (I bought five at one time at Victoria's Secret because it was 5 for 25 or maybe it was less than that, I can't remember). But yeah, I just went to the mall to shop and I bought them and when they suddenly appeared in the wash my mom got the idea and started buying them for me.

Hi it really depends on your mom. If you mom is outgoing and doesnt care about getting you stuff like bras and underwear then go for it because the worst thing she can do is say no. If you mom is quiet about stuff like that maybe when you are in the store ask to try on a bunch of different underwear and pick up a thong and try it. If you mom says no because she doesnt think they are apprioate get some boyshorts or bikinis.

Honestly I wouldnt get thongs..They are very uncomfortable and you can also tell when you are wearing them because if you bend down you can see them. I personally prefer aerie lowkinis =)

You could tell your mom that everyone else is wearing thongs and that you feel nerdy for not wearing thongs. She might say that she doesn't approve of thongs (because she might think they are simply for sending the "wrong message to boys"). If so, see if you can compromise and get some cute boy shorts or something.

I think  you should just tell your mom that you don't want your under wear line showing. I did it, and know I have some, my dad doesn't approve of wearing them but i still do, and i also find thongs uncomfortable, i prefer  g-stings.

Why do you want to? Boyshorts are way cuter and way more comfy.

But if you really want to wear thongs, why would your mom care? You can wear whatever underwear you want.

I personally wont suggest thongs....i know they dont cause the dreaded panty line.....but be open, next time you guys are shopping point out that you need new underwear and that you think its time to change it up a bit. But yeah tongs im not sold on them....if its the panty line issue remember that you can get other underwear/ better quality that will not show. If you are doing this because everyone is doing this......rethink being like every one else remember its all about being different and unique in life in everything!!!

thongs just give huge wedgies, only wear them if you dont want to show through a see through skirt or shorts and if you want to wear them just buy them and say to her i bought some new undies :)

next time youre shopping with her just pick out a whole bunch of underwear in different cuts. tell her somthing you really like about the thong (like the color or pattern) if she says anything when you ask to buy them. or make an excuse like "i want to wear it with leggings so i don't have an underwear line" if she says no just say please can't i just try one pair to see how i like them even if you dont like to wear them, i might like them. then after you manage to get one pair, just tell her you find them a lot more comfortable then other underwear you have or that the fit is better or something.

why do you want to wear one? i only wear them when it's necessary. if its because you can see underwear lines through your jeans, then just tell your mom that. if thats not the case, just but it yourself if youre so worried, thats what i did when i got my first thong.

You don't necessarily have to ask. They're going on your body not your mom's. What I did, was ask my mom for money, and she took my cousin and I to the mall and I bought my first thong. It's no big deal really. At first she was like Oh My God, but she got over it and now it's just whatever.
