Undulating racetracks world wide?

Question

in australia we have flat tracks...... in england there tracks are very hilly..... they go up and down, what are the tracks like in other parts of the world....ie: america's, asia (japan, singapore,macau), south africa...... and anywere else you know of?

also...... why do we race on undulating tracks? personally i think a racetrack can be challenging enough without going uphill and downhill!

hey race flat in England , I think you have to know what type they are running in

or steeple chase races with Jumps??

they DO ride FLAT RACES IN ENGLAND

SOME farms train them over the hills just to get them fit and sure footed
