i try to be as enviromentaly consious as posible but i find it very difficult to be so when my parents drive a gas gussler(10 mph). my dad refuses to get a new car because of the amount a more fuel efficient car costs. What can I tell him to change his mind? also what cars are inexpensive yet fuel efficient?

  1. A 1995 vehicle is likely PAID OFF. To buy and new car would mean he would have to pay for one. Do you have the 20 - 30 thousand dollars he needs to pay for it.

Here, I have it. Tell him that if he buys a new fuel officiant vehicle, you will fore go any new food or clothing for the next 10 years. Tell him that you are also willing to get up a sunrise and go to bed at sunset so that you do not need any electricity for lighting. Tell him he can use any money that he would other wise spend on you on the new car.

Other wise mind your own d**n business and but the h**l out of thing you possible know nothing about like your father personal finances.

  2. You don't say how old/big/make of the car but if it from say, the seventies and is a v8 then something like a Corolla could literaly use 1/3 or even 1/4 of the fuel. One of the similar euro cars of the same size that are deisel would use even less fuel.
