Unemployment? I was laid off from my job and am a part time student.?

Question

I qualified for benefits or so the EDD said of california and sent in all the appropriate paperwork and expected to find my check in the mail as I filled in everything and they said i'd be getting it. I claimed over 3 weeks ago now and got a letter saying they want to interview me and I might not get it now. What gives? I can still work, am looking for work and am in school part time which I told them. Now my interview's a week away still and that's longer they're withholding my check (which I was told would be here now). ANyone had this happen or why they suddenly want to interview me?

they phone  interview everybody that applys for unemployment and after they determine that you are eligible they will send you a check

Go to CVS or RiteAid or whatever big name drug store in your area. They are always looking to hire and train pharmacy tech - count the pills. Worse part of the job is learning the names of drugs and standing on your feet most of the time. Full time gets FULL medical benefits too. Most people are idiots and cannot do the job. They don't show up, they can't remember anything. not willing to work. If you are willing to work there is a job for you.
