Unemployment In NC?

i wanted to know how many months do i have to work at a job b4 i can file for unemployment? i got laid off of work and i was wanting to file for it. thnz

you can do it online and it will tell you immediately if your eleigible.  also, if you apply for any state or fed benefits they will make you apply and get turned down before they help, so you may want to apply anyway.  but with all the christmas jobs coming open you shouldnt need to file.
