Unemployment benefits , how long does it take to get them?

i have been waiting now for 42 + days .seems kind of too long for some reason. any information about how they inform you and how long it takes to hear a yes or no

You have fallen through the cracks and should have called in weeks ago.

they usually contact you within the first week...you DEFINITELY need to call because they will never get back to you at this rate.  Most likely they misplaced your file.
