Unemployment for getting fired for fraternizing.?

I was fired 2 weeks ago fro fraternizing. I wasnt going to file for unemployment but I havent been able to find a job yet and I have a newborn. Does anybody know if i have a chance of receiving unemployment in arkansas

  1. If you were fired for cause (which is a policy or rule that is clearly stated in your employee handbook) you will not get unemployment.  If you were fired for something that is not a written policy or rule then you would get unemployment.  

    Either way I would file for it.  They will have to answer to the unemployment agent and explain why you were terminated.  If it was for something that was not a written policy or rule the agent will rule in your favor.


  2. Was the other person fired as well?  How well is this policy enforced?   I would apply- they can deny.  I would appeal if they deny.  

  3. Probably not, you were violating company policy.
