Question:

Unemployment insurance mine ran out after 26 weeks i still cant find a job my question is how far can you?

to collect from another job id say it was over 4 years ago i left the job because i became sick and no matter how hard i tried i could not find the energy to get a job so it was a good year before i found another job im not picky about what i do but i can find anything and i dont want to go on public assiatance any help would be great thanks alot

  1. Go to the local Career Center, or what ever it is called in your area. Also sign up at Temp Agencies, they pay daily and often times you end up getting a permanent job from them. When I'm helping clients look for jobs I have them attend every job fair in the area( can usually find this at the employment Office)


  2. 26 weeks is all you get.  

    Try welfare.  But if you have more than $2500 in savings, forget it.

  3. Regardless of how many employers you go back, the benefits only last 26 weeks.  You'll have to work for a year or so before you can re-qualify for benefits.

  4. Register with your state's Department of Employment Security. (The Unemployment Office). They may be able to help you find a job that suits you. There is no charge for their services.
