Unemployment related ??

Question

im currently unemployed due to construction industry major slow down,i have 2 more months remaining, long story short does any one now the prosses or requirements to getting an extension for unemployment benefits!??!

It's been my experience that unemployment will contact you by mail if you are entitled to an extension. You can always call the inquiry line and ask.

you should get a letter in the mail one week after your regular unemployment runs out ,, if you dont get it in a week call  your local Un employ office...they can assist you ... (this happened to me )

most of the states that have signed on to the 13 week extension are sending notices about 2 weeks before those who are drawing benefits become eligible for the extension. you can go to your states website for more info.
