Uneven pupils?

Question

my pupils dialate unevenly. its been like that scince birth and i was wondering what could cause this. my eyes are a dark bluish-gray. even in a fairly bright area they will be uneven, but constrict to the same size. (its my left pupil.)

i was also wondering if i should (or even could) get a medic alert braclet, because im unsure of what would happen if i aquired a head injury.

If this is normal for you you have likely sen a doc about it.

There are many explanations and it is an individual thing.

I would get a medic alert bracelet. If you had an accident EMS or ER docs would think that you have some major brain problems if they aren't informed about the difference being normal for you.  A bracelet can avoid unnecessary testing and procedures.

if you've seen a doctor about it, then no, it wouldn't be anything to worry about- if you haven't, you should.

I second the suggestion of buying the medical identification bracelet, though- someone who does not know your medical history will not be able to guess that it's not a problem.

it's almost eerie how much that sounds like me we have the same eye color and all.....i went to a nuro-optimologist and he concluded that uneven pupils are purley visiual they have no effect on what u see, how u think, or wat could happen if injered! there is rly no need to worry i have other various medical problems tht is the only reason my family was concernd and took me to a doctor....there is no need to be wary!
