Uneven tension on Rubiks cube?

I Lubed My rubiks cube a while back with crc silicone and some sides are easier to turn than others, is there a reason why? are some tighter than others or did i just lube less on some sides.?

DO NOT put vaseline in your cube EVER.  It is very bad for plastic and eats away the inside of the cube over time.  It'll just turn into c**p after a while.  You only want to use silicone, like you're already doing.
