My friend lives in Texas and has been turned down for unemployment. He was let go. Can the company do this and for what reasons?

  1. he needs to go to local unemployment office, if don't know then call your local court house and they will tell you and go fill out the paper work and fight for it.


  2. most states are "at will", which means they can hire or fire you for any reason they want to.
