Unfair GCSE question?

I got a B in my resistant materials coursework. I was told i would have to get over 10% in my RM exam in order to get a C. My overal grade was a D. I cannot belive this, in no way did i think i messed up, i think i at least got 50% right in my exam. Should i pay for it to be remakred? I would just feel like such a t*t if i paid £40 for it to be remarked and it was still an overall D.

  1. Tests do have errors. But usually there are only a couple of questions on a given test that contain errors. This is more likely a misunderstanding between you and the person who told you that you only need better than 10%

I would go to the person who told you that you only needed 10% right to get a C, and let them know that you are sure you did better than that and still got a D. See what that person says and pursue it from there.

Standardized tests are a notorious *****... They keep them so secret and you only get to see them for a short while during the test. It makes it very difficult to find and object to mistakes.

    Good luck!

  2. If you feel strongly about it, you should DEFINITELY get it remarked. You should anyway, because the big difference between a C and D is pass and fail.
