Question:

Unfair to Hillary?

A TV reporter joked that male voters didn't like Hillary because she reminded them of their first wife. It was suggested that a similar remark would never be made about Obama because he is black, E.G. Obama reminds people of their pool boy. Is a 60 year old women fair game for insult but not a 42 year old black man?

  1. And hitlery calling Obama a spade is what ?????

This is politics, and when she is losing she will say ANYTHING and it will get a lot dirtier then it is not. The clintons believe in personal destruction of their opponents.

  2. she is fair game,, its politics... besides its true she does remind me of my first wife.. she was just as horrible as the Hillar-beast, if you must know Hillary's  wife Bill reminds me of my first wife as well

    WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU

  3. We still allow groups to be segregated into boys vs girls yet its been deemed politically incorrect (and rightly so) to segregate groups into black vs. white or any other *color*.

I think all remarks regarding a persons gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, etc., should be off limits as that is the only true way to move toward a more peaceful nation where all those facets of our personality only enhance what we have to offer to the rest of the world, not hinder us as in many cases it seems to do now.

We only know of the candidates what we see on TV or read in various articles.  There is no way to tell what is or isn't correct or how a person really is when behind closed doors so I think we need to save the personal attacks and generalizations for those we really do know, like ourselves.

  4. I'm sorry, but my cabana boy is latino. As such, I'm sure he takes great insult at your stereotyping of pool boys as being black.

As for Hillary, it's more that she is a cold, nagging witch that reminds some men of their first wives. I don't think many of them have ever been married to black men, so analogies become tough.

  5. I don't think that anything is unfair given how she treats others.

  6. Nope, all are fair game when it comes to politics.

Politics and debates have never exactly been P.C., and I don't see that happening now.

  7. "First wife," and "pool boy" are not equivalent.  Try "first wife" and "first husband," then apply your test.  What the reported said was snide, but welcome to the wonderful world of politics.

  8. Your take on this situation is 100% accurate. We live in a time where verbal degradation of women is still acceptable yet frown upon by some, yet racism or bigotry (even the occasinal off handed innocent remark that nearly everyone uses) on a grander scale has become not only politically correct to persecute those that practice it, morever over it can land you on the front page of every newspaper and news show in America (Don Imus).  One is not less or greater than the other. Both are deplorable acts to engage in. It just seem that the stigma of being labeled a sexist is no where the weight of being labeled a racist. Reverse racism has been

the effect giving those that have been attacked for years the power now to exploit there own racism to achieve greater ends by verbally exploiting the comments and launching their own platforms for other agendas. Now I don't know if I label that as smart use of an standard abuse policy or just out and out mainpulation of an entire country to reach some kind of econmic standing (Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc).

  9. For the last year all I heard from the TV was how she was soooo far ahead of everyone one else. After losing Iowa and gaining a narrow victory in NH Bubba complained how the media has neglected her. I couldn't believe that lie either. Now he's hired two slime ball character assignation experts, Carville and Begala (from his campaign) to work on hers. If we think it was dirty before, stand by and watch it now. These guys, and the Clinton's, will stop at nothing.

  10. According to Al Sharpton you cannot make a joke or any other remark about a black person because it is racist.

BUT, you can make all the remarks you want about a white person.

  11. It is gender bias , americans should see asian countries who have thrown up first class leaders.

Unfortunately americans see women as nagging witches only.

it is  a sign of troubled childhood .

It is mad mad world or man man world

  12. I have more interest in electing Edwards for President. But it makes my blood boil when I see sexist remarks made about her. To me it is an insult to all women. And what happened in New Hampshire may very well be a knee jerk reaction by women who also object to macho attitudes of superiority and attacks of any woman who has the odyssey to think she could hold the Office of President. Focus on her choice of wardrobe (showing cleavage), the quality of her voice, the size of her hips, the use of Bill's infidelity to be critical of her. Then there is the name calling with the "b" word. "c" word being disguised with misspelling.

If you are opposed to her give the facts-what has she really done to deserve your criticism NOT her gender, not her physical appearance, not how her voice sounds, and not the flaws of her spouse. None of those are being used concerning any male candidate. Yes it is unfair. And yes it is different with Political Correctness towards Obama being applied and cast to the wind for Hilary.

  13. Hillary is just a plain fraud!

Talking about women equality but sets women back 50 years when she 'plays the victim' and cries, whines, blames others for her defeats/failures, and just generally complains when under pressure.

She has shown that she can dish it out freely but watch out when the barbs ricochets to her.

  14. This question is quite interesting and I think that whats good for the goose is good for the gander!! I laughed out loud about the hillary thing! Very funny!

  15. You obviously have not heard the "Barack the magic *****" song which was created in response to the liberal media's stance on Obama. All candidates are taking heat.
