Unfair trade?

In my yahoo league, 2 people made a trade..

Lance Berkman for Tim Lincecum.

Is that unfair?

if it's a keeper league than it is fair...

Certainly sounds like a lopsided trade but it depends on each teams needs.  The team giving up hitting for pitching may be desperate and willing to overpay for a quality pitcher.

According to Yahoo, Berkman is the top ranked player in the game while Lincecum is ranked 44th overall and 14th among pitchers.

Given you're trading the best hitter for the 14th-best pitcher, this trade should be vetoed.

It's pretty bad, yeah. Berkman is having a stellar year, and I believe is even ranked 1st overall right now on Yahoo.. 1st or 2nd. I would've included someone along with Lincecum.
