Unfinished projects?

Have you ever started an artistic project you didn't finish, and what do you think you learned from it, even if you didn't complete it? How has it contributed to your overall artistic life?

I started writing a story a few months ago, and i just recently got fed up with it and deleted the whole thing. After a few days' time of thinking, i realized that i could have made the story better, and i regret deleting it. I have learned to always save my stuff until i am absolutely one hundred and fifty percent sure that i will not be able to work out anything with it, then if i don't need it i delete it.

Taught me a valuable lesson there.
