Unhealthy attitude or what?

I've been backstabbed a LOT so although I am extremely sweet and caring to my good friends to the point where I'm almost a push over...I'm a ***** to some others. o_o; Some girls in H.S. didn't like me because they thought I was snotty and acquaintances fall apart and start disliking me, I have a very "UP YOURS" attitude about it. I'm actually pretty good with strangers too and they think I'm sweet but...idk. I think I'm pretty good at losing acquaintances. Anyone else like this? LOL People get so butt hurt that it makes me want to punch them in their face and be like "uh...you're not even important to me so go away."

  1. People will always be people ...

    If you don't like them get a bunch of animals and there you have some real "good friends ."  


  2. That happens to me too. It's just difficult for me to keep my old acquaintances, and we gradually fall apart, to the point where we're like strangers. Maybe people are just jealous of you because you're so nice and sincere.

  4. Well maybe you need to practice having more patience with people. It is hard sometimes to just tolerate some situations but if you want to keep acquaintances than you need to lose the "I'm all that" attitude. No one likes that. The good thing about an acquaintance is you usually aren't around them for too long. So try to tone yourself down a little bit. Not everyone will always like you but if you don't care than I highly doubt it matters.

    I can't tolerate people who gossip. They share useless information with everyone! I know things about people I have never even seen. And maybe those things aren't even true. So even though I cant tolerate it, I just keep my cool, nod my head, and leave it at that.

  6. ok. well, if you want to keep people, don't totally change who u r but try to inprove this attitude. try not to care what anyone thinks but if it really matter then you should try to be a little bit more caring. if someone makes you mad, just breathe in and out deeply until you feel better. it always helps me.
