Unhygienic Food In School?

One of my son classmate ate some food in school. To his horror there is a cockroach in the rice. He claimed that some even saw mice in the canteen. Complain was made to school but no action was taken. Does anyone knows which government department to make an official written complain? This school is in Singapore.

i think it's the health department. mice, cockroach in singapore? omg this is disgusting. If no action is taken then i suggest u report it to the police or change school.

This probably doesn't answer you're question but i just had to put in some feedback about school food. I knew someone who was eating some bread in our school lunch hall, as it was the only thing she would touch (who can blame her????), it was french bread, so she was just kinda tearing bits off, and in the middle there was a pinkish red bit! THIS WAS BREAD FOR CRAPS SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knowing the laws in Singapore, they'll probably arrest your kid and his friend for insulting a state institution and then have them caned. Just have him bring lunch from home from now on.
