Im to study abroad or work abroad for my placement year next year starting in sept 09.
I have two preferences..California or BC/Vancouver.
To either study at a university there or work in a job associated with my degree (Geography and Environmental Management)
With studying abroad i think i get free tuition fees...as they are partner universities to mine uni in the uk...
the options are San José in CA, and 2 in Vancouver.
Alternitavely getting a job in a national/country park would be my other option, though in canada they only accept foreign applicants after Canadian ones as its a job from the state, so i'd have no chance.
Though i think California's parks don't have this system, theres nothing on their website about foriegn placements =/
I have no idea about other paid placement jobs dealing with urban planning/environment management/environ. conservation...as its pretty d**n broad.

So if anyone has worked abroad and has tips on choosing a placement..i'd be grateful for help =]
